Bring Your Own Storage
Why BYO?
With ArchiveSend, your photos and videos live in your cloud — not ours. That means you stay in control, and you can leave any time. No storage fees from us. No lock-in. No fine print.

Full Control
Your files, your rules. You decide where your files live and who has access — not us, not anyone else.

Pay Only for What You Use
fees. You bring your own storage, so you only pay your provider (like Wasabi) for the space you actually need.

Built to Last
Your files stay yours. Even if you stop using ArchiveSend, your portfolio stays put — no lock-in, no vanishing links.
Getting Your Own Storage in 3 Minutes
To get started, all you need is:
✅ A Wasabi account (takes ~3 minutes)
✅ A credit card (they have a free trial too)
✅ Copy-paste a few credentials into ArchiveSend
That’s it. Once it’s set up, you’ll upload and send files just like any other transfer service — but with the confidence that you own the storage.

You're Now in Control
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the stuff photographers actually ask.
What does “Bring Your Own Storage” mean?
It means you sign up for an account with a file hosting provider like Wasabi, Backblaze, or AWS S3). You then give us access to it so we can ArchiveSend help you upload, share, and manage your files. You get the benefit of complete control and ownership of your files, and ArchiveSend gives you awesome interface to use them with.
Do I need to be technical to set this up?
Not at all. We walk you through it step-by-step. Most photographers can get set up with Wasabi or Backblaze in under 10 minutes.
Why would I want to host my own files?
You get total control, better privacy, long-term flexibility, and way better storage pricing. By going directly to Wasabi, Backblaze, or AWS, you’ll get a far better price per GB and only pay for what you actually need. If you ever stop using ArchiveSend, your files stay right where you left them.
Which storage providers do you support?
Right now: Wasabi, Backblaze B2, and AWS S3 — all using the same easy setup flow.
How much does cloud storage cost?
It’s surprisingly cheap. Wasabi and Backblaze both offer high-speed storage for a few dollars per month — and you only pay for what you use.
Can ArchiveSend access my files?
No — your files stay in your own storage (Wasabi, Backblaze, or S3). ArchiveSend never stores your files on our servers.
We do store metadata — like filenames, sizes, and download link activity — so your dashboard and file history work smoothly. But the files themselves always live in your bucket, under your control.
What happens if I cancel ArchiveSend?
Your files stay right where they are — in your own storage account. Canceling just means you’ll lose access to the ArchiveSend interface, including uploads, link sharing, download logs, and file management through our app.
You can still access your files directly through your storage provider anytime.
